Doctor of sciences, professor, holder of several war orders, the head of the laboratory of metal carbonyls of INEOS RAS (1954–1976).
Prof. Anisimov was well-known expert in the field of organometallic chemistry. In 1954 he became the head of the the laboratory of metal carbonyls – the key compounds in organometallic chemistry. He had developed a number of industrial processes for production and utilization of metal carbonyls. In 1941-1947 Prof. Anisimov served in the Red Army.
